My first book to be published this week

Posted on 11 October 2011

Excited and relieved that this week is looking promising for the actual release of my book “iPhone Applications Tune-Up”. A few delays caused by the release of iOS 5 and a new version of Xcode made this a more than lengthy process. More than likely it will be some time before I write another; mostly due to time constraints.

It was an enjoyable and extremely educational experience, and I am grateful to the entire publishing team that relentlessly tugged me along and kept me on schedule for more than a year.

More information and of course to get your hot little hands on a copy:

Traveling at the moment, but when I get some additional time and can sit down for more than a few minutes, I’ll put together a few details on the overall experience; even point out some efficiencies I discovered and traps I blindly walked into.

Who this book is for

For iOS application developers who are interested in resolving application performance bottlenecks in both new and existing Xcode projects. Readers should be familiar with the basic concepts and principles of iOS development, Objective-C syntax, and use of Apple’s Xcode development environment.

Enjoy!

Cheers on you recent publication! The writing and publishing experience must be fun. For sure, you had come across a few challenges while finishing your book and doing the publication process, however they’re all part of the experience.
